There are many ways to prepare coffee. While everyone has their own tastes and preferences, below are basic guides on coffee brewing ratios and parameters at home.

In most coffee shops, coffee is prepared based on weight, not volume. However, it is not always practical for home brewing. For this reason, this guide uses volumes of coffee and water, and not weight.

This is meant to be a starting point for your home coffee brewing; you can always adjust the ratios to your liking.
